Hey there! I’m MJ — travel advisor, storyteller, and unapologetic memory-maker-in-chief. I plan vacations that feel like Champagne dreams, even if your budget is more like boxed wine.

My passion for travel started in an immigrant household. My parents came to the United States with big dreams and limited resources and still pulled off a yearly family vacation. Cruises, Caribbean all-inclusives, road trips down South — each one gave us sunshine, laughter, and my most precious childhood memories.

Croatia was always part of that story too. My parents were born there, and our family has a second home on the island of Susak — a tiny, car-free island most people have never heard of. I’ve been going my whole life, which means I know it the way most people know their own neighborhood. It’s where I learned that the best travel experiences are usually the ones nobody told you about.

Now, as a mom of three based in Fort Lee, NJ, I carry on that tradition. Whether it’s sticky fingers at a cruise buffet or spontaneous sunset drinks in Santorini, those shared moments are the real luxury.
