Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026: Dates & Tickets

Disney officially dropped the goods. After teasing us for two days with glowing tarot cards and cryptic spider clues, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 dates, ticket on-sale info, and entertainment lineup are HERE, and there’s some genuinely exciting stuff this year (Stitch is throwing a dance party!).

If you’ve been waiting to plan a Halloween trip to Magic Kingdom, this is your moment. The popular nights will sell out — they always do — so let’s break down everything you need to know to lock in your night before everyone else does.

## The Official 2026 Dates

The party runs **August 7 through October 31** on select nights. Here’s the full calendar:

**August:** 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30

**September:** 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29

**October:** 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31

**The pattern to know:** August parties fall on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. September is mostly the same (with one bonus Thursday on the 24th). October ramps up — Thursdays, most Fridays, Sundays, most Tuesdays, plus Saturday on Halloween itself.

## Ticket On-Sale Dates (Mark Your Calendar Right Now)

This is where you need to pay attention.

**May 5** — Tickets go on sale for guests staying at:

  • Select Walt Disney World Resort hotels
  • Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels
  • Shades of Green

**May 12** — Tickets open to everyone else.

That one-week head start for resort guests is why I keep telling people: if you’re serious about MNSSHP, book your resort stay FIRST. The popular nights (anything in October, especially Halloween itself) will be gone or close to it by May 12.

**Discounts available** for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

**Pricing:** Varies by date — premium nights (October weekends, Halloween) cost the most. Disney hasn’t published the full pricing tiers yet, but I’ll update this post the moment they do.

## What’s New for 2026

**Stitch is hosting a dance party.** This is genuinely the most fun-sounding addition in years. At the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, Stitch raids Lilo’s costume trunk — and every accessory he tries on swaps the theme of the party. Lilo and Angel are along for the ride. It’s “ever-changing” and “playfully unpredictable,” which translates to: bring the kids, this is going to be chaos in the best way.

**The Cadaver Dans return** — the Dapper Dans’ spookier cousins, singing in soulful harmony. Iykyk.

## What’s Coming Back (The Good Stuff)

**Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade** at 8:15 PM. Mickey, Minnie, and friends in costume, plus waltzing ghosts, Disney Princesses, and villains. Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph is making an appearance.

**Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular** — the Sanderson Sisters are back, joined by Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and The Evil Queen. This show is a fan favorite for a reason.

**Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular** — Jack Skellington transforms Cinderella Castle into a haunted house with projections, fireworks, and towering encounters with Ursula, The Queen of Hearts, and Oogie Boogie.

**Trick-or-Treat Trails** — over a dozen candy stops across the park, with handfuls of M&Ms, Snickers, and Starburst at each one. You don’t even need to bring a bucket — Disney provides treat bags for everyone, including adults. (I’ll be using mine, thanks.)

## Exclusive Character Meet-and-Greets

This is one of the biggest reasons to do MNSSHP. Characters you can meet at the party include:

  • Jack Skellington and Sally
  • Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes (Town Square Theater)
  • Pooh in his bumblebee costume
  • Ariel and Eric, Aladdin and Jasmine in festive royal attire
  • Disney Villains roaming the streets — keep your eyes peeled

A complete character guide is coming from Disney soon, and I’ll add it here when it drops.

## Insider Tips From Your Travel Advisor

Now the part Disney isn’t telling you. Here’s what I’d actually do:

**Skip October weekends.** Yes, the Halloween-iest vibes. Also the most expensive, most crowded, and most likely to sell out before you even get a chance.

**Target August Tuesdays or September weeknights.** Same parade. Same Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Same free candy. Same Stitch dance party. Way fewer people. Lower prices. This is the move.

**Use the 4 PM early entry.** Party guests can enter Magic Kingdom at 4 PM even though the party officially starts at 7 PM. That’s up to 8 hours of park time on a single party ticket — make it count.

**Book your resort BEFORE May 5** if you want the early ticket window. By the time tickets open to the general public on May 12, the popular nights will be gone or thin.

**Don’t forget costume rules.** Adults can wear costumes (rare and amazing!) but Disney has guidelines — no full masks, no costumes that drag on the ground, nothing too revealing, no costumes that obscure your identity. Check the official rules before you commit to that elaborate Maleficent look.

## What You Should Do Right Now

1. **Pick your top 2-3 dates.** Use the calendar above. Aim for August Tuesdays or September weeknights for the best value.

2. **Book your resort stay before May 5.** This gets you the early ticket window.

## The Bottom Line

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to plan a Disney Halloween trip, this is it. Let’s lock it in before the rest of the internet figures out the September weeknight strategy.
